What Data Do We Collect About You / Internal Record Keeping:

Customer Data information that may include your title, name, billing address, delivery address, email address, land-line telephone phone number, mobile phone number, contact details, booking details, advertising details and payment preferences. User Data which includes data about how you use our websites. Technical Data, we may automatically collect the following information when you have visited The Heywood Handbook and/or The Norden and Bamford Handbook: technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform length of visit to pages on our websites, page views and navigation paths, details about the number of times you visited our websites and other technology on the devices you use to access our websites. The source of this data is from our analytics tracking system on Google and our website hosting agent. Marketing Data which may include data about your preferences in receiving marketing from us. We will not collect any Sensitive Data about you. We will not collect information regarding your children or anyone under the age of 18 (we do not collect data that allows us to detect that an individual is a minor in any deterministic way), race or ethnicity, religious beliefs or philosophical beliefs, sex life interests or preferences, sexual orientation, political opinions, addictions, any information about your health and well-being. We also do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may send you marketing communications and promotions from us if you have made an advertising booking or have asked for information from us about our services and also if you have agreed to receive marketing communications and in each case you have not opted out of receiving such communications since. We may also send emails containing an online version of the current editions of The Heywood Handbook and also The Norden and Bamford Handbook. We may also send deadline reminders for advertising via calls, emails, text messages and WhatsApp messages. You can opt-out of receiving marketing communication from us at any time. You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages/communications at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by emailing us at antonia@theheywoodhandbook.co.uk at any time. If you opt-out of receiving marketing communications this opt-out does not mean your previous personal data collected will be removed.

We currently use an online magazine publishing program and therefore your personal data information and advertising details will be uploaded onto their system. We may have to share your personal data information with service providers who provide IT and system administration services, professional advisers including any legal representatives, law enforcement agencies, lawyers, tax purposes, solicitors, bankers, auditors, insurers, legal accounting, reporting requests and Government bodies that require us to report processing activities as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006. The Heywood Handbook and also The Norden and Bamford Handbook sends payment information, advertising information, booking confirmations, service updates and service notifications to you via email. Our emails will contain clear and obvious instructions describing how you can choose to be removed from any mailing lists (unsubscribe).

Where possible we have put into place security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, stolen, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed without your prior authorisation. By using our services, you agree that The Heywood Handbook and also The Norden and Bamford Handbook can access, aggregate and use non-personally identifiable data that we may have collected from you. For tax purposes the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers for a minimum of six years from when they have stopped being customers.
