The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook does not guarantee the security of these websites and will not be held responsible for any damages arising from viewing and interacting with these sites. Definitions:

The Heywood Handbook and The Norden and Bamford Handbook is referred to as “we”, “us”, “our” or “publisher” and the customer definitions are referred to as “customer”, “client”, “you” or “advertiser”, “user’s”, “user” “they” in these terms and conditions, privacy policy and cookie policy.

Proofs:

Please check your proof thoroughly - The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook does not accept any responsibility for incorrect artwork or low-resolution images. If the customer is supplying completed artwork / advert, it must be of high resolution with a minimum of 300dpi or commercial print quality, supplied at the correct size for the space booked (see Advert Specification website page for advert sizes) - Jpeg or PDF preferred and unlocked. If an advert is supplied by the customer and contains an image, logo or a photo the advertiser takes full ownership and confirms they own the copyright and permissions to use the image for advertising purposes, they are also confirming if a font is supplied, they have the right to use it. If a governing registration logo, approved supplier logo or training provider logo is used on an advertisement supplied the customer takes full responsibility that they have the legal right to use it and also advertise it on their marketing material. The publisher takes no legal responsibility to verify an advertiser. The publisher takes no responsibility for false or inaccurate advertising of a customer. If the publisher is designing an advert for the customer and the customer supplies material to be included in the advert the publisher takes no responsibility for the consent to use the advertising material. The publisher takes no responsibility for any artwork/advert supplied. The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook cannot guarantee that your advert will be successful and, in the event, that it is not, you (the advertiser) are still obliged to pay in full for your advert in full.

Colours:

Colours may vary and/or change shade from the proof once back from the printer - The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook can not to be held responsible for this. Colours that are RGB may significantly change. There is no guarantee your advert will look the same in print as supplied or viewed on the computer.

Payment:

All payment is due on acceptance of the final proof on or before the edition deadline, an invoice will be sent. Outstanding payments will be forwarded to a legal debt collecting agency where charges and interest will be occurred, Bank Of England Basic Rate plus 8% under "The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Acts 1998" for late payments. No advert will appear in The Heywood Handbook and/or The Norden and Bamford Handbook unless payment has cleared and the advertisers account is up to date.

Advertisements & Advertising Material Supplied by the Customer:

All final proofs are final (please read Proof Section) - no amendments can be made after the edition deadline. The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook cannot be held responsible for any errors which may be noted when they are back from the printer. The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook does not endorse the accuracy or reliability of any of the advertisements, nor the quality of any products, information or other materials displayed, purchased or obtained by any customer as a result of an advertisement also any information or offer in connection with the service or products. Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on these websites (The Heywood Handbook and The Norden and Bamford Handbook) for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law. Dates, times & venue of events published are guide purposes only. The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook has the right to refuse any business from advertising without giving an explanation. The Publisher may, at its absolute discretion, reject any advertising material supplied by the customer, which appears to be unsuitable. Additional cost incurred, if materials are found to be unsuitable during production, may be still charged. Where materials are so supplied or specified, the Publisher will take every care to secure the best results, but responsibility will not be accepted for imperfect work caused by defects in or unsuitability of materials so supplied or specified.

Illegal matter:

The Publisher shall not be required to print or post (social media) any matter, which in the publisher’s opinion is or may be of an illegal or libellous nature or an infringement of the proprietary or other rights of any third party. The Publisher shall be indemnified by the customer in respect of any claims, costs and expenses arising out of any libelous matter or any infringement of copyright, patent, design or of any other proprietary or personal rights contained in any material printed for the customer. The indemnity shall extend to any amounts paid on a solicitor’s advice in settlement of any claim.

Advertisements Supplied by The Heywood Handbook and/or The Norden and Bamford Handbook:

Advertisements which The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook have created are not to be used in other publications or advertisements unless prior permission has been granted - if it is found that advertisements have been used without permission a charge of £75 may be incurred. Please read proof section for more information.

Editions and Delivery:

10 Editions a year – double editions are August/September and December/January. The Heywood Handbook and/or The Norden and Bamford Handbook is delivered within the first week of issue this is weather and circumstances dependent therefore not a guarantee.

Price Increases:

The Heywood Handbook & The Norden and Bamford Handbook reserves the right to increase the advertising rates at any time with immediate effect. Long term advertisers are protected for the duration of their booking (if payment is made in full and up-to date).

Complaints:

Any complaints must be made in writing (address on the invoice) or email antonia@theheywoodhandbook.co.uk. Please allow up to 5 working days for phone calls, letters emails to be replied to.

Cancellations & Refunds Policy:

Advertising cancellations made by a customer – all cancellations from customers must be made in writing or email to antonia@theheywoodhandbook.co.uk at least 14 days prior to the deadline of each edition, a acknowledgement letter or email will be sent. Full or partial payment is non-refundable if a cancellation is made after the first publication in a series has been made, the advertisement may be withdrawn from future editions. Advertising cancellations made by the Publisher – the Publisher can cancel any advertisement contract prior to the deadline of each edition, if the publisher cancels a booking any payment already made for future editions will receive a full refund. A cancellation letter or email will be sent.

Liability:

The Publisher shall not be liable for any loss to the customer arising from errors or delays in publication or delivery.
